SCW.AI commemorated International Women’s Day on March 8th by expressing solidarity with the Soma Yırca Hanımeli Women’s Cooperative.
This year, SCW.AI sought to honor the women who enrich our world through a collaboration with the Soma Yırca Hanımeli Women’s Cooperative. The cooperative’s women have been transforming the coal-mining-based economy of the Soma region with their organic products, such as olive-based soaps, candles, and decorative items. Their powerful slogan, “Rather than the smoke of coal, prefer the purity of soap,” exemplifies their commitment to a cleaner, greener future, all while creating beautiful, organic products.
