Story of SCW.AI
SCW.AI, founded by Evren Ozkaya, Ph.D., in 2022, emerged as the parent company of Supply Chain Wizard to address the evolving needs of manufacturers in the digital era. Our story began with the establishment of Supply Chain Wizard in 2014 to provide end-to-end supply chain strategy consultancy for manufacturers with the initial focus on track and trace transformation of the pharmaceutical industry.
The decision to establish SCW.AI as a separate entity was driven by the realization that manufacturers were grappling with significant challenges due to the industry’s slow adoption of digitization. The lack of real-time data and automation in production planning and scheduling, along with the limitations of existing solutions like ERP, MES, and CMMS, hindered the digitization progress. In response, the Digital Factory platform was launched in 2017 to provide a scalable, simple, and comprehensive solution to manufacturers’ needs.
